Cork has been successful in its bid to host the third UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities Conference in September 2017. The two previous conferences were held in Beijing 2013 and Mexico 2015, each attracting over 600 delegates from countries all over the globe.
Our new visitor experience was be officially opened by Ardmhéara Chorcaí Cllr. Chris O’ Leary on Thursday 23rd June. The new addition offers a multi sensory 360 experience charting the development of the former Victorian waterworks in tandem with the development of Cork City
Lifetime Lab is host to a full range of fun summer camps this July & August, activities range from Robot Camps, Stop Motion Camps, Science Camps, LEGO Camps & Workshops or simply pop in to enjoy a tour of Cork's Victorian Waterworks.
Cork Bike Week will take place from Saturday 10th until Sunday 18th June 2017. With events taking place throughout Cork City and County during the week long cycling celebration, this year promises to be the biggest and best yet with an ever increasing diverse range of cycling activities for people of all ages and abilities to take part in!
