Science Week 2015 is a hive of activity at Lifetime Lab, primary schools may choose to enter our primary science quiz, participate in a primary science workshop, our obtain a visit to your school with MathsWorks Mobile our primary maths workshop.

Science Week 2015 Events 

• The 2015 Primary Science Week Quiz is organised by Lifetime Lab in association with the Irish Science Teachers Association with support from Pharachemical Ireland , the 2015 Primary Science Week Quiz takes place at Devere Hall , UCC on Tuesday 10th November at 6.30 pm. To enter download and complete our  Primary_Science_Quiz_2015_Booking_Form and return with entry fee to Primary Science Quiz, Lifetime Lab, Old Cork Waterworks, Lee Road, Cork. • MathsWorks @ Lifetime Lab is a stimulating and fun introduction to elementary maths, motivating pupils to engage maths through sight, sound, touch and movement. Each workshop will include a short presentation before participation in a series of hands on fun math’s based activities covering multiplication, symmetry, problem solving and transformations. MathsWorks is also available as a mobile workshop to visit your school.

• Lifetime Lab Primary Science Workshops school encourage  hands on science investigations, discovering topics such as Energy, Electricity and Magnetism, Forces, Materials, Rocks and Soils, the Senses and many more. Our primary science workshops focus on the skills, concept development and content objectives of the SESE Science Curriculum. Throughout the design of the hands on workshops we are mindful the primary science activities presented would be modelled on and represent feasible classroom practice.
