The 3+1/2 hour workshops are full of hands on practical science activities that encourage discovery and investigation. All Lifetime Lab workshops and school visits may be used as a step in achieving the Science Foundation Ireland Discover Science and Maths Award.

To request a primary science workshop booking form please email lifetimelab@corkcity.ie or call 021 4941500. Please be advised dates for this workshop fill very quickly for the school year and are offered on a first come first served basis. Once a booking form is received our team will be in touch to discuss potential dates.

Primary Science Workshop topics change each year and individual workshops are adapted to suit the class levels attending. Equipment used consists of simple accessible household items and all activities are planned to be possible in a classroom/school setting. Over the years teachers have commented that the workshop are a great source of ideas and have helped teachers develop their own science teaching.
